About the project – general information

The “Polish Platform of Medical Research: a knowledge and research potential management platform” is being implemented under the contract no. POPC.02.03.01-00-0008/17-00 Operational Programme Digital Poland for 2014-2020, Priority axis 2 “E-government and open government”, Action 2.3 “Digital availability and usefulness of public sector information”, Sub-action 2.3.1 “Digital sharing of public sector information from administrative sources and scientific resources”. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

This is a partnership project implemented at seven medical universities:

  • Wroclaw Medical University – the project leader,
  • Medical University of Bialystok,
  • Medical University of Gdańsk,
  • Medical University of Silesia,
  • Medical University of Lublin,
  • Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin,
  • Medical University of Warsaw

and in Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź.

The period of implementation of the project: 1.11.2017-31.10.2020.

 

The expected results

The Polish Platform of Medical Research (PPM) project aims to create a platform that integrates, showcases and promotes the scientific achievements and research potential of the project partners in the areas of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, occupational safety and health, ergonomics and health protection. It is planned to create a database of experts from various fields of medical sciences and a shared thematic repository archiving full-text digital objects.

The result of the implementation of the project that is expressed as a direct result indicator will be at least 12 480 350.00 downloads/views of documents containing public sector information.

Number of entities that have made public sector information available on-line: 8.00

Number of documents containing public sector information made available on-line (including access for the visually impaired and the hearing-impaired): 20 364.00

Number of scientific resources made available at least on level 3 of the Five-Star Open Data scheme: 20 054.00

Number of APIs created: 17.00

Number of databases made available on-line through API (also for the visually impaired and the hearing-impaired): 25.00

Amount of public sector information made available on-line: 0.08 TB
